      After a busy friday, today is a good day to just putter around. Coffee, compute and walkabout a bit. Then I took our dinette table outside to refinish the oak edges that have worn the finish off over the years, now looking like new.

       I also refinished the cupboard door below our oven that had been damaged from some oven cleaner a while ago. And after close inspection I could refinish a few more surfaces, when the mood strikes me, don't want to get it all done at once.

      After this project was completed a trip into town to pick up a few grocery items. Then  back home to get out the books to sit in the shade and read for a while. Around 4:30pm the sun starts to set and begins to cool off, so inside we went to cook up a nice roast beef, potatoes and carrots in our pressure cooker. I haven't used the pressure cooker in a while but it just does a fantastic job, cooking the whole dinner in just over one hour, melt in your mouth tender and juicy and so tasty. I got so caught up in this simple process that I forgot to make the Yorkshire pudding, maybe next time. We had lots to eat you should have dropped by.

      Now following a perfect day was another colourful sunset.
