Thurs. Mar. 3rd 2011 Rockport/Fulton Texas

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Its another fantastic day, the heavy dews overnight allows for easy window cleaning, just use my squeegee and sparkly clean again. Coffees, computing and a walkabout its gonna be a warm day. So I went for a nice bike ride along Fulton Beach Rd. before it got too hot. The calm water, no wind and the many shrimp boats offshore just makes this a magical morning ride.
6 shrimp boats if you can see them

Then more scenery, more piers, and a nice waterfront Kontiki Beach Resort, and look the other way for a nice view of the causeway across Copano Bay.

Then hop in the car to the store for a few groceries to add to supper. I picked up two of these colossal fresh gulf shrimp to sample for supper on the grill, they were 2 oz each!

Puttering around then we can read in the sun and the shade enjoying a peaceful afternoon, and then a quiet "Happy hour" as most of our neighbours were out sightseeing some of the sights we have already seen.
Happy Hour
Then time to fire up the BBQ for our porterhouse steak, baked potato, 2 grilled shrimp, mushrooms, onions and some peas.
nice tasty supper
Now to relax again with a book and a bit of TV, another great day in warm southern climate on the Gulf of Mexico.

Sure beats eating out, the Porterhouse that we cut in half, was on sale for $5.10 and the two shrimp cost $2.80 a pretty cheap way to have an awesome meal. Yes Life is good.
