Mon.Nov 14. another hot day

Join us as we travel North America in our Holiday Rambler Vacationer,
 since August 2006

Overnight was quite warm again, windows open and the fan going, this is just great we both had a real good sleep. Early morning coffees and computing and a walkabout the resort down by the Bayou. We could have had a campsite here but opted to stay in the open for the sunshine, sure glad we did the mosquitoes here could almost carry you away, I didn't waste much time looking around here after taking a few nice pictures. Chatted with a few of the neighbors here then back home.

Turtle Bayou

We did not have a plan for today, just relax a bit enjoy the weather 90f (32c) by 9.am and pretty well stay like that all day until the sun began to set after 5 pm. We discussed possible places to visit and see after christmas and researched these areas together.
I am still working on trying to get the sway bar bushings for our coach. So many different answers and prices. Ford says we have to replace the bar completely $500.00. Roadmaster has a kit for this but takes two weeks to get with two conflicting different kit numbers ($130.00 plus labour, somewhere) the Camping World in Tuscon doesn't do the work, we could have got it done in Hammond LA. if we had the parts. I did find a source on E bay the exact bushings for our coach, $45.00, now that's much better. So we will order the bushings and have them shipped to St. David Arizona where we will be in about three weeks. Once we have them in hand then we can get the work done.

Ok now with all this fooling around time to relax in the shade and enjoy our books, why? because we can. Now more fresh air and reading is a great way to spend the afternoon.
a nice shady spot
Then before we know it, its time for supper and I don't need to cook! We have left over meatloaf, garlic whipped potatoes and peas for a tasty easy meal.
Now with supper done we can chat a bit more read for a while then watch the season finale of Battle of The Blades. On the road in the morning to Rockport Texas on the Gulf of Mexico.
