The desert we love, sunshine, blue skies, no humidity, but we do have wind, dust, dirt and cool nights. In the end it works for us.

Where are we today ?
Today is another wonderful day here in the desert. We are used to this. Yep we have sunshine, beautiful clear blue skies, warm temps (mid 60'sf), but then we have the wind and a dust. Winds to 17 mph and gusts to 40 mph but no problem we still enjoyed the sunshine and nice temps.
Luckily where we parked this time is more gravel than dirt so not so much dust here. Can see it off in the distance but we are good here.
all day long clear blue skies
sure is nice in the sun
After cruising about town for a bit this morning back home to finish off our chicken noodle soup for lunch.. Oh so so good have a few bowls here enough for another day.
Then outside reading in the sun and out of the wind. Much too windy for more walkabouts, at least for us, but sure did get some exercise and quality reading time done.
Couple pics below you can see the dust in the distance..
Where we are is a gravel setting so not much dust here.
Eventually time for supper.Fired up our Weber Q ( windscreen of course whipped up a salad and grilled a couple Mahi-Mahi burgers to go with it.
worked for us and so tasty
And once again another great desert sunset. What's not to love about this?
Glad that you stopped by to check us out.
Blogger seems to be working fine for us, so not sure what other bloggers are having a problem with.

Check out the interactive map below to see where we have been this Fall and Winter..

    1. Glad you caught up with again Charlie, it is a small sacrifice to be able to enjoy the sunshine and sunsets.
You could run forever here in these wide open spaces.

  3. We've enjoyed some of the nicest winters in Arizona and also been there when the winters weren't so nice. The only thing we usually can count is that we won't see snow.

  4. Thanks for the tips at finding a place to park in the desert.
We don't use Live Writer so we haven't had any problems posting either.

  5. It turned cold over this way. 35 degrees this morning but the wind wasn't as bad as predicted.

  6. With all that dust you'll have a little bit of Arizona to take home with you to Canada, to tied you over until the next winter's travels. :cD
